Ranger Die is seeking an experienced manager to lead the in-house design and engineering team in supporting both the company's tool building and stamping operations. In this role, you will supervise a small team of Die Designers who are responsible for creating and modifying designs for progressive stamping dies. As Engineering Manager, you will complete die designs as well as supervising the work of your team. Knowledge of tool and die is crucial for this role, as well as proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Distribute design & engineering workload to make best use of available resources, including individual skills. Schedule work assignments to balance Designer workloads and customer commitments; ensure design work begins with sufficient time to meet the needs of tooling and production.
