Summary The CAD Designer I is responsible for creating and maintaining 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models in support of tire development and manufacturing. Typical responsibilities include producing tire profile and sidewall drawings based on established design standards and existing model sizes. More complex drawings and models are completed with guidance from Engineers or senior Designers. The CAD Designer I works closely with Tire Engineers and Design team members to support development activities, assists with drawing revisions, and participates in established CAD and documentation workflows. This role supports the generation of CAD data required for the procurement and manufacturing of experimental and production tires while continuing to develop technical skills and proficiency in CAD systems and processes.
