Akkodis is seeking a Mechanical Engineer IV for a Contract with a client in Cupertino, CA. Candidate must have strong expertise in Abaqus-based finite element modeling to build accurate, high-quality simulation models for complex engineering problems. Rate Range: $87/hour to $89/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Mechanical Engineer IV job responsibilities include: Develops detailed finite element models using Abaqus to simulate mechanical, structural, and thermal performance accurately. Executes preprocessing tasks such as geometry cleanup, material definitions, meshing, and boundary condition setup. Troubleshoots modeling issues and refines meshes to improve convergence, stability, and computational efficiency.
