Summary: Researches, develops, designs, sustains and tests mechanical/electromechancial products and systems, related to commercial HVAC equipment. Also directs and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical/electromechanical products and systems by performing the following duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design/Development and Product Management: Research and analyze data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application. Mechanical design of heat transfer systems including: chilled water systems, air/water cooled refrigerant systems, and fluid pumping systems, all in accordance with engineering design standards and customer specifications.
