Overview Carlson Design Group is seeking a talented Structural Engineer III to join our growing engineering team. This role will support clients across the Data Center, Light Industrial, and Commercial sectors as part of our continued business expansion. Location: Detroit, MI including some travel. Hybrid Responsibilities Your key responsibilities include: Acts as the lead structural engineer responsible for: scoping the project, coordinating with other disciplines, obtaining necessary information to execute the work, and preparing conceptual designs, corrections to field issues as well as complete designs Requires an experienced, competent individual capable of successfully solving difficult problems that require creative solutions in structural steel, reinforced concrete, reinforced masonry, wood, and light-gage steel designs Provide technical design support to the design team including overseeing and assisting with the development of less-experienced engineers...
