Job Summary Cirrus Aircraft is currently hiring an Aircraft Systems Engineer focused on Mechanical Systems. An engineer in this role is responsible for design, development, integration, and certification with systems such as wheels, brakes, tires, landing gear, complex mechanisms and sheet metal along with structural strength of these systems on both the SR and SF platforms as well as new projects. Candidates will also be responsible for coordinating and leading development and system integration work with subcontractors and external suppliers. Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions Technical areas of responsibility include: Requirements, Design, Traceability, and Installation of on-aircraft equipment working with multi-disciplinary team.
