Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and/or perform substation physical electrical design, including general arrangement, plans & specifications, grounding, raceway, etc. for transmission voltage systems Lead and/or perform protection & controls design, including relay one-lines, metering, SCADA, communications, security, etc Lead and/or perform studies & calculations, including grounding, bus spans, shielding, etc Develop and/or review turnkey EPC scope of work and specifications Ensure design compliance with Large Generator Interconnection Agreements and Power Purchase Agreements Comprehensive understanding of the utility grid (power generation & transmission) system and the principles involved in high voltage substation engineering Comprehensive understanding of industry standards, including NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE/ANSI and their application to projects Provide full life cycle project support, including initial project feasibility, preliminary...
