Description Summary of Position: The Project Engineer is responsible for designing and drafting food processing and packaging equipment, plant layouts, and parts. This role also establishes budgets and timelines for capital projects and manages systems installations. Functions of the Position: Designs, redesigns, or modifies required areas and implements changes to resolve problems and improve equipment and system performance and reliability. Prepares completed layouts for final equipment and system designs based on simple sketches and/or vendor-supplied drawings for all company locations. Manages new equipment purchases by working closely with vendors to ensure equipment meets manufacturing requirements. This includes performing Factory Acceptance Tests and other related activities.
