Overall Responsibilities: The Design Engineer is responsible for the design and development of fiberglass and aluminum-based products. Manages the technical design, and redesign of current product lines. Manage all states of the development of new products as well as coordinating modification or design changes in existing product lines. RESPONSIBILITIES: Integral part of the development cycle, by providing design support to projects and product lines assigned to them Proficiency in computer aided engineering (CAD) Solid Works. Proficiency in surface modeling. Manage documentation of prints. Design test fixtures, as necessary, to conduct experiments (in cooperation with test lab).
