Join the Birdon team and help ensure USCG boats are safe and reliable! Our Mechanical Engineers are an integral piece of our work on a daily basis. Some of your daily functions will include: Independently plan and perform engineering and technical work concerning the design, engineering and drafting of company products. Complete the majority of 2D part drawings, 3D part modelling and manufacturing part drawings based on existing design layouts. Develop manufacturing part drawings in accordance with applicable industry and engineering standards. Verify product designs utilizing 3D modelling in Solidworks, PRO-E, or Autodesk Inventor by checking form, fit, and function.
