Job Description JOB TITLE: Controls Engineering Technician REPORTS TO: Controls Engineer or Maintenance Manager DEPARTMENT: Maintenance Pre Requisites: (Education and Experience) Associate degree in Engineering (PET, IET, EE, Met) or equivalent experience Entry-Level experience in the following: debugging and testing electro-mechanical systems and controls configuring HMIs for discrete manufacturing equipment programming and commissioning motion control systems including multi-axis robots and servos programming PLC based controls for manufacturing industrial automation with electro-mechanical and controls work machine vision applications a plus Specific Duties: (Included but are not limited to) Designing, developing, installation and upgrade machine controls for assigned manufacturing machinery and equipment.
