Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Job Summary The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will drive manufacturing process practices through the development and application of critical manufacturing requirements and methods to achieve manufacturing process excellence. The AME will design and/or review technical requirements and identify/define appropriate manufacturing processes, influence alternative designs from a manufacturing capability perspective utilizing DFMA (design for manufacturing/assembly), process quality planning (PFMEA, control plans, SPC, etc.) and lean design and manufacturing principles, and review designs for all new purchased parts.
