Description POSITION SUMMARY The Project Engineer Intern works closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents through the various phases of the construction of water/wastewater facilities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB Interpret plans and specifications for water/wastewater treatment facilities. Assist in the estimation of concrete, structural steel, earthwork, process piping, and architectural elements for water/wastewater projects. Acquire and review project submittals. Create logs to better manage various aspects of the project. Work with vendors on small orders and deliveries. Assist in inventory of material.
