TITLE: Controls Engineer FLSA: Exempt UPDATED: 07/25/2024 DIVISION: ALL REPORTS TO: Engineering Manager GRADE: Summary: Provide Electrical Controls Engineering support for department projects. Essential Functions: Designs, develops, and documents PLC software logic for extrusion, RPM, and automation projects. Advisement and participation in all robotic and automation installations. Installation and troubleshooting of Kuka, Fanuc, Yaskawa, or other robot cells. Lead / assist with final troubleshooting of all electrical and control systems. Troubleshoot Siemens, Allen Bradley, or other PLC's as necessary. Responsible for working with Quotation Engineering and other department managers to help define and understand task assignments and schedules as related to assigned projects.
