The role - what you'll do Barr is seeking an electrical engineer to join our team in a part-time role. In this hybrid or remote role, you will support the Engineering and Design business group, working as part of multidisciplinary project teams to provide electrical engineering and related technical expertise. Work will include design of substations, distribution, and transmission lines; power system studies; planning studies (construction work plans, long-range plans); and construction observation. Additionally, this person will provide municipalization analysis support and design and QA/QC work for substations, distribution, and transmission lines. A successful person in this role will have strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
