JOB SUMMARY An Engineering Intern is an entry level position in the engineering department performing professional engineering work related to the design and construction of various public works projects under the directions and supervision of experienced engineers. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in preparing plans, estimates and specifications for the construction of public works projects. Compile and review engineering data for reports and studies. Assist in resolution of engineering problems. Perform field measurements and inspections of public works projects.
