Job Duties and Responsibilities: Adheres to all Company safety rules and procedures. Performing and managing field quality control tests and production records. Performing basic field surveys, resolving geometry issues, preparing drawings/sketches to support construction work. Ensuring all work is in accordance with Menard's standards and design and construction drawings. Researching and resolving drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors. Preparing RFI's for submission to General Contractors and Engineers. Job Duties and Responsibilities (Technical): Review and become familiar with reference background information such as geotechnical exploration reports, project specifications and civil/structural plans for use during design and preparation of the design drawings and calculations. Analyze various ground improvement approaches and select the option that meets the project criteria. Develop cross sections, generate soil profiles, and select soil properties for design. Perform finite element modeling, as needed, to understand complex soil-structure interactions and estimate deformations and stresses within the soil and ground improvement elements. Perform all required design calculations and analyses including, but not limited to, global stability, settlement, bearing capacity, and structural and geotechnical capacity of CMCs. Coordinate or prepare design documents (final design calculations and drawings). Review all Quality Assurance/Quality Control from the Field Engineer....
