Position Overview: As a Senior Mechanical Engineer in an additive manufacturing company, you'll lead the development, and improvement of additive manufacturing processes and products, leveraging your expertise in mechanical engineering, materials science, and 3D printing technologies. You will research, develop, design, test, evaluate, and document mechanical components, subassemblies, equipment, and systems, applying principles and techniques of mechanical engineering. This position is responsible to work independently and as a member of a team supporting the development of capital equipment. Responsibilities Design and document electrical systems and components, including cables, wire harnesses, industrial control panels, and cable routing solutions. Develop and maintain electrical schematics, System Interconnect Diagrams (SIDs), and related engineering documentation. Support electrical system validation activities by developing test plans, executing tests, and documenting results. Assist with system-level integration, testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of electrical and electromechanical systems. Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to support prototype builds, production issues, and outsourced electrical assemblies. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product reliability, manufacturability, quality, and cost reduction.
