Design new extrusion systems and make modifications/upgrades to existing extrusion systems. Assist assembly shop floor throughout build process of extrusion systems. Support identification of assembly issues and lead corrective action to maintain project schedule and ensure that sold specifications are met. Evaluate system design, part design, or existing processes for cost efficiency and reliability. Aid quality department with supplier deviation requests and post inspection part disposition. RESPONSIBILITIES: Design continuous web handling machinery to sold specifications Solve moderately complex machinery designs as directed by the Engineering Manager Calculate stress, deflections, and theoretical analysis.
