Summary The City of Garland is seeking a proactive and experienced Development Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the Development Engineering Group, the Development Senior Civil Engineer is responsible for managing, reviewing and approving the design of private land development projects and various public drainage projects to ensure compliance with City ordinances, engineering standard practices, and all regulatory requirements. The Development Engineering Group's main focus is engineering plan review for residential subdivisions and commercial site development, attending Development Review Committee meetings, conducting meetings with consultants, engineers, property owners and residents, planning public infrastructure systems (including water, wastewater, drainage and street systems), and supporting the Planning Department during entitlement requests and cases.
