Main Tasks Lead product engineering activities for new product launches and product modifications from concept through release • Coordinate Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities related to R&D projects • Define product fit, form, and function based on customer technical requirements and application needs • Develop product designs including drawings, CAD models, prototype builds, and validation plans • Plan and execute material, dimensional, and performance testing to ensure compliance with OEM specifications and internal standards • Analyze validation results and provide technical recommendations for product approval, launch, or design changes • Collaborate with Sales and Product Management to support OEM, private label, and internal customers with technical expertise • Interface with customers and suppliers to review designs, test results, cost optimization initiatives, and technical concerns • Create and modify 3D CAD models and drawings (Pro-E / Creo or...
