The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for evaluating and improving manufacturing methods through maintaining a thorough knowledge of customer product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: SolidWorks proficiency is required - must be able to create, modify, and interpret 3D models, drawings, and assemblies. Experience with other CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo, or similar) is a plus. 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a customer-facing or project-lead capacity within a made-to-order or high-mix production environment.
