Job Purpose The MRB Design Engineer - Structures & Systems reviews defects, establishes root cause, provides an acceptable disposition to repair the discrepant condition using engineering principles and determines if corrective action is required. Key Accountabilities 1. Reviews discrepancy documents to fully understand non-conforming aircraft structure or systems affecting production or flight test aircraft. A priority will be given to engineers who possess skill sets in both structures and various systems. 2. Develops repair dispositions. Ensures that the proposed repair is structurally and functionally equivalent to the blueprint design and that it will not affect systems functionality. 3.
