Job Summary/Overview The Engineering Intern will support the Engineered Solutions Department within the Conveyance business segment of CMCO. This role provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced engineering environment, working closely with a team of Engineers to support customer orders, process improvements, and product development activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist Engineers with active customer orders, including design updates, documentation, and technical support. Design and detail parts using CAD tools, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and alignment with project requirements. Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for engineering projects, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Project Engineer Responsibilities include: Creating customer quotations for low volume production and prototype work in Additive with various secondary operations. Creating customer quotes for complex customer projects involving numerous manufacturing technologies stemming from Additive. Managing projects for quoted work through design, production, inspection, and customer acceptance. Working with Fathom Account Managers & customers to provide design for manufacturability (DFM) feedback to secure quoted opportunities. Being a high-value technical product development resource to Fathom customers.
