Job Description The primary responsibilities of this position are to create and modify technical drawings of complex components, parts, assemblies and sub-assemblies. Individual errors will directly affect, to a moderate degree, the overall pace of novel product development, production, quality of product, and overhead costs for programs/products. More specifically, this position will support the development of softgoods products, such as Thermal Protection Systems (TPS), and mechanical/electromechanical products, such as mounting fixtures. TPS is used for rockets, in-space cargo vehicles, and human rated flight vehicles, to protect launch vehicle components and structures from the high heat resulting from launch and return.
