Though this is not a supervisory position, the Senior Manufacturing Engineer will take on a lead role from the perspective of manufacturing engineering while assigned in direct support to projects and programs to help facilitate New Product Launches (NPIs) and-when not in direct support to a specific program/project--will help guide a team of manufacturing engineers and industrial engineers through Continuous Improvement activities, work cell development, and the integration of automated assets. Key capabilities critical to the success of this role and the overall project include having familiarity with Root Cause Analyses and Kaizen events; value stream / process mapping, and load balancing, programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and Additive Manufacturing (AM) principles and processes.
