POSITION PURPOSE This role is responsible for using global manufacturing systems to digitalize and link key operational manufacturing equipment technologies and processes throughout BAC's global factory footprint. By further connecting manufacturing systems to other key systems and datasets up and down the value stream, the role will be responsible for creating tools that drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) early in the process and ultimately manage better outcomes in the operational factory environment. The Global Manufacturing Systems Technology Engineer reports to the Global Director, Advanced Manufacturing Technology. This role interacts with the Global Business Systems applications teams as well as all regions' manufacturing plants, regional manufacturing engineering and global engineering.
