POSITION SUMMARY This design engineering position will be primarily responsible for the design process for the RT and Datacenter product lines. The primary focus will be utilizing 3D CAD systems to generate solid models, 3D assemblies, and 2D drawings to meet customer, vendor, and in-house specifications. Additionally, team members will be asked to assist other departments on an as needed basis. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Generates 3D component parts and assemblies of proposed designs using computer aided drafting/design software (Autodesk Inventor) Verifies material to be used and relation of one part to another as well as to the whole structure or project Creates and revises production drawings (component parts and assembly drawings) that include detailed multi-views with all necessary dimensions and notes Maintains drafting standards utilizing appropriate company guidelines and suggests improvements as needed Utilizes knowledge of various manufacturing principles,...
