The following are types of bridges our Bridge Design Engineers design: Prestressed Box Beam Bridges on capped pile substructures Single span concrete slab bridges on capped pile substructures Continuous slab bridges on capped pile substructures Concrete deck overlay projects Minor rehabilitation work involving concrete patching, deck joint rehabilitation, parapet safety regrading, or other structural repairs not requiring design computations A Bridge Design Engineer is also responsible for the planning and design of bikeway/pedestrian bridges, low flow stream crossings, and drainage conduits (culvert pipes and three-sided/four-sided box culverts).
