Job Description This Senior Body Design Engineer position is responsible for engineering the systems and components for the Mazda vehicle produced at MTMUS (Mazda Toyota Manufacturing U.S.) plant, determines engineering strategies with support from management to achieve MNAO quality and cost goals, works with Mazda Japan R&D team members, suppliers, and other related departments. Establishes R&D workflows, creates processes, and technically documents each new process while creating new business standards. Conducts research and development for Mazda. Applies research theories, principles and models when conducting experiments and research activities. Summarizes research results and communicates finding to team members and appropriate departments. Ensures projects are completed on time and under budget.
