General Purpose Responsible for executing testing protocols on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric battery tools. This role ensures the quality, functionality and reliability of products by designing and executing tests. Test Engineer creates test fixtures, writes test procedures, builds testing scripts, and identifies defects before a product launches. He/She collaborates directly with development teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize overall product design. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Designs test fixtures from scratch which includes design of mechanical components, selecting appropriate sensors and electronics, creating wiring diagrams, building the fixtures, and programing to automate the equipment. Support engineering teams with creating appropriate test protocols. Prepares test cell with specimens and fixtures for testing.
