Job Description *4-DAY WORKWEEK POSSIBLE * NATURE OF WORK Within the Engineering Design Unit of the Public Works Department, and under the general direction of the Assistant Town Engineer, perform advanced level engineering, administrative and technical design work involving the application of professional engineering skills and knowledge in a variety of municipal public works and water and sewer activities. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Prepares plans, specifications and cost estimates for the design and construction of various Federal, State, and Town projects. Prepares reports and performs engineering computations on various engineering subjects. Reviews development plans for conformity with Town standards and accepted engineering practices.
