Position Summary: A process engineer at Crane Resistoflex is responsible for supporting production through daily trouble shooting and root cause analysis to ensure processes are safe, meet quality and throughput requirements and make the work easier for the operators. This requires hands on involvement and working on the shop floor. In addition to this support, they will be responsible for design and implementation of tooling and/or process changes to improve manufacturing processes. They will also own larger cost reduction projects from ideation, feasibility and design, Capital Expenditure approval, and implementation. Principle Duties (includes, but is not limited to): Design and implement improvements to production processes and controls. Develop improvements to manufacturing methods to improve safety, reduce cost, or increase productivity.
