SUMMARY The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design of controls systems for the Makino product lines, including horizontal machining centers, vertical machining centers, and transport systems. The controls designs include standard options required for the North American and South American markets, along with custom options that are required for special customer requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES and AUTHORITIES include the following. Others may be assigned. Develop electrical/control designs for special Makino product options and the required documentation for special options/modifications per customer request/order to accurately represent the completed designs. Maintain and update, from Makino Japan engineering change notices, all electrical documentation for machining center products produced by Makino.
