SUMMARY: A Controls Engineer at Ohio Gratings is generally responsible for all aspects of Controls and Automation Systems. The Controls Engineer is capable of developing and implementing new and upgraded controls systems that include but are not limited to hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, robotic, MIG welding, and safety controls. The Controls Engineer will project manage large capital projects, support existing controls systems, write internal and external controls engineering specifications, provide guidance to technicians, and provide training as needed. The Controls Engineer promotes safety as a top priority, and conducts controls safety evaluations and provides counter measures promptly.
