Job Overview The Design Engineer is responsible for creating concept drawings for new product ideas and conducting design studies to identify the most effective configurations. This role collaborates closely with the engineering design team, modifies existing designs for similar applications, and develops detailed prototype drawings. Additionally, the Design Engineer updates design drawings and bills of materials for existing standard equipment to implement improvements and standardize engineering enhancements across products. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred. Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field with three plus of drafting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
