All Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. MET's will not be considered. As an Engineer at PLP's headquarters, you will help provide product engineering services, including product development, product modifications, and technical service. Duties & Responsibilities: Provide technical support to Marketing and Manufacturing for existing product offerings. Evaluates alternative materials for cost reductions/improved performance. Helps with new product development and product modification work. Helps to develop product parameters, specifications, and engineering drawings. In conjunction with his supervisor and the Purchasing Department, works with vendors concerning tooling and part fabrication issues.
