Essential Functions: Design or check components to ensure individual members and welds meet requirements of applicable specifications and codes (CISC,CSSBI, SJI, AISC,CWB, etc). Meet departmental objectives as set in conjunction with the Engineering Manager. Assist Engineers in performing core essential duties. Provide engineering expertise to outside sales offices and potential clients in the usage of joists and related products. Prepare work schedules and expedite workflow in order to meet customer and shop work schedules. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fabrication and site problems.
