Essential Duties & Responsibilities Make programming changes to automated equipment to improve uptime, improve recovery, reduce scrap, and increase throughput. Maintains and improves existing equipment. Manages equipment upgrades, new installations, and product changes that impact equipment. Manages outside contractors. Works well with production supervisors, engineers and technicians responsible for supporting all departments. Use AutoCAD Electrical to create/update electrical diagrams. Select controls components based on design criteria and generate a bill of materials. Program using RS Logix 500, RS Logix 5000, Studio 5000 and Factory Talk View Studio. Create or update programs for Fanuc and other robot brands. Perform machine power up, debug and programming. Troubleshoot electrical wiring and process related issues.
