Company Description Job Description Civil Service Title- Civil Engineer II Candidate will report directly to the Supervisor of the unit. They will conduct field visits to identify deficient structural conditions, perform structural analysis, prepare design plans and determine scope of work. Create detailed sketches, and designs repair protocols. Maintain an up-to-date record of outstanding repair requests, ensures timely repairs according to the urgency of the flag condition and routinely communicate with relevant DOT units and contractors to follow up on the status of repair requests and complete repairs as per NYS DOT Bridge Inspection Manual guidelines and the NYSDOT OSS Inventory and Inspection manual.
