Job Description Mechanical Engineer Job description General Summary of the Position Prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery and mechanical devices, including dimensions, fastening methods according to customer specifications. Essential Functions Design and create drawings, CNC's, solid models and sales drawings for Gentle Roll's, Screw conveyors, Sheller's, Sidewinders as well as other custom parts and equipment for outside customer's and in-house repair or construction orders. Create parts, assemblies/bills of materials, shop work orders and sales orders in accounting software; check status on inventory, shop work orders and sales orders. Design drive packages that calculate equipment capacities, rpm and horsepower for parts and equipment according to customer needs.
