Job purpose This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering. It is a salaried position. The Manufacturing Engineer designs, implements, and reviews processes and procedures for all aspects of manufacturing: Manufacturing, Assembly, Tooling, and Special Processes. Responsible for all manufacturing documentation including op sheets, ECNs, and maintaining the ERP system. Duties and responsibilities Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing and validating product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes. Designing and implementing assembly lines to meet production schedules utilizing lean and ergonomic techniques. Special processes including heat treat, laser marking, anodizing, black oxide, grit blast, welding, brazing, cleaning, and others.
