Job Purpose: The Systems Engineer (Validation) is the project team member responsible for validation and verification of the system/mechanical hardware design for production applications. Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned as needed): Interface with customers to support validation and verification of new electronic power steering components and sub-components: Negotiation of system/mechanical test/validation requirements. Creation/management of test DVP&R and test schedules. Coordination of validation activities and validation samples with internal/external labs. Creation of validation test procedures from internal/external requirements. Creation of validation test reports to internal/external customers. Communication/coordination of validation/verification status reports to the project team and/or customers.
