Job Description Overview We are seeking an Intermediate Piping Engineer Energy - Remote. This remote position is based out of our Oak Ridge, TN office. Your role Mechanical or Process engineering responsible for design, layout, installation, and maintenance of piping systems and associated supports. Supports the design and analysis of mechanical components, systems and piping designs for nuclear and commercial projects. Creates detailed engineering drawings, P&IDs, and 3D models for piping routes, equipment, placement, and plant setup. Performs a variety of engineering calculations using traditional engineering methods and applicable design codes and regulatory requirements. Will specify piping materials, fittings, valves, and support systems and perform stress analysis using software to ensure structural integrity.
