Scott Rotary Seals (SRS) of Olean, NY is looking to hire a full time Design Engineer to join our team. SRS is a highly technical, custom manufacturer of Babbitt bearings. The Design Engineer is responsible for entire project cycle including design, development, and project completion for routine and moderately complex babbitt bearings. Job Duties of a Design Engineer Perform all necessary calculations such as stress analysis, pressure drop and flow analysis, and performance analysis. Serve as a direct point of contact for customers, engaging with them on engineering design matters, addressing questions or concerns, and collaborating to solve problems effectively. Collaborate with clients during the design for manufacturability process, ensuring designs meet performance requirements while being optimized for cost- effective production.
