JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Quality Engineer 2 will be responsible for supplier and process quality for SureScan. Responsibilities include participating in supplier assessments and selection, performing pre-analysis and acceptance on mechanical prints, including analysis of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. This person will also inspect, and test warranty return materials and perform failure analysis on them, including tear-down and inspection of failed x-ray tube assemblies. This engineer will also drive process quality and process definitions to improve performance and reliability of x-ray generator assemblies, working collaboratively with our subcontractor who performs the assembly.
