Overview of the Position: The Engineer I is primarily responsible for developing and documenting technical data to support the repair activities at ACI. This is an entry level position for a new graduate or an engineer new to aviation/MRO. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop repair instructions in accordance with engineering procedures and industry specifications. Develop substantiating technical data in accordance with engineering procedures and applicable regulations. Use various measuring tools and gages to reverse engineer parts. Use XRF Gun and hardness tester to determine alloy and hardness of various metals. Create drawings and figures for repair instructions. Substantiate and document equivalencies for tools, equipment, materials and processes to support repair activities.
