Job Summary: Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for improving product flow and throughput, procuring proper equipment and tooling, designing fixtures and dies, and assisting in the development and maintenance of a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program. Main Duties/Responsibilities: Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times. Lead cross-functional teams to improve product flow and increase throughput by evaluating plant layout and manufacturing processes. Participate in developing and maintaining a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program that covers all facilities and equipment. Prepare specifications, evaluate supplier quotations, and develop requisitions for equipment. Design and/or procure the necessary tooling, fixtures, and dies.
