SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - atmosphere furnace & commercial heat treat This senior level engineering position will be responsible for cradle-to-grave design and project management for a rapidlgy growing atmosphere furnace manufacturer. This role will be exposed to many areas of engineering such as engineering mechanics, fluid mechanics, combustion and heat transfer, metallurgy, heat exchangers, turbomachinery, finite element analysis, computational fluid dynamics, fastening and joining, high temperature alloys, insulating materials, and structural design. Requirements: MUST HAVE a minimum of 5 years expereince working for an atmosphere furnace OEM MUST HAVE a working knowledge of heat treatment and thermal furnace design Experience in 2-D design with a working knowledge of AutoCAD is STRONGLY PREFERRED Experience in 3-D modeling with a working knowledge of Solidworks/Inventor is STRONGLY PREFERRED Assertive personality with an ability to take charge,...
