Wilson & Company is seeking a full-time Senior Traffic Engineer to join our Arizona transportation planning and engineering team. This role will serve state and local agency clients and lead traffic design projects, safety evaluations, and multimodal facility analysis. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of project types and sizes, including design-build. This role could be to serve as a local practice lead, commensurate to experience and skills. Roles & Responsibilities: Lead/manage design for intersections, traffic signals, roadway lighting, signing, pavement marking, traffic management systems, and ITS systems. POSITION SUMMARY The VDC Engineer is responsible for task level management. Implementation and execution of McCarthy's Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) Processes, tools, and best practices within their assigned projects. The VDC Engineer reports to the VDC Manager or next highest position. RESPONSIBILITIES Task-level execution of VDC functions including BIM Execution planning, BIM Coordination, 3D modeling, 2D drawing production, 3D printing, laser scanning, drone flights and photogrammetry Lead technical aspect of 3D constructability and 3D Design and Trade Coordination, working in tandem with project teams to ensure standard of care and best practices are followed.
